Old age is a unique phase of our lives where we should ideally reap the fruits of our labour surrounded by loved ones and enough community resources.
Elderly people have a variety of difficulties cutting across physical and emotional health as well as forgetfulness and in some cases financial and social difficulties. CIA aim to support some of the elderly people when faced with such challenges especially now with the poverty and rising costs of living as well as limited access to health facilities in Nigeria.
Deteriorating physical health may prevent a person from enjoying their old age leading to loss of independence, which is distressing for most people. Everybody needs a little help sometimes and CIA as a charity can provide some support to reduce some of these difficulties.
