Often the advice and direction from a mentor is the most powerful asset that can be given to an individual. Words of wisdom that stay with you for life, that help to shape your being and your path. We look for opportunities to mentor and inspire a selected number of our Ibusa youth, to help them in their life’s journey, with the possibility and hope that one day they will be in a similar position to provide guidance to others that come after them.
Each mentorship engagement runs for a period of 2 years, with virtual and in person meetings at a frequency to be agreed between the mentor and mentee, but often this will be monthly or quarterly. Whilst recognising that we are a young organisation beginning from a small base, where and if it is possible the aim will be to align mentors and mentees that have similar backgrounds and interests.
